Description
Clearly, cashmere is an incomparably luxurious material - extremely soft, light as a feather, with excellent climatic properties and a great yardage that allows for a beautiful knit pattern. But unfortunately it is often very expensive. This high-quality Italian yarn uses 50% recycled cashmere, which is leftover fiber from the same spinning mill.
These two materials are then spun into a wonderfully voluminous yet lightweight 6-strand cashmere yarn that is extremely productive at an impressive 112 meters per 25 grams. In this way, the valuable cashmere fiber is used optimally. The dyes are of course free of harmful AZO compounds. And after knitting, the yarn develops a soft fluff on the finished piece - a true dream! Therefore, it is advisable not to knit the yarn too tightly.
Why isn't this cashmere yarn fluffy to begin with? This is because roughened or brushed cashmere yarn, which already looks "wonderfully fluffy" in the ball, often tends to pill. This cashmere was deliberately not artificially “puffed up”. It hardly forms any tangles and only gradually develops a delicate fluff when knitted and worn.
The yarn is perfect for knitting cozy gloves, hats, small accessories and baby clothes.
